We import a wide range of raw materials of natural stone and sells a broad range of products from granite, marble, slate and limestone. We are an art rock business with excellence. Our staff designs, produces and delivers fast and secure for our customers.
- What delivery time do you have? It is usually one of the first questions we receive from our customers. The answer is very fast. We measure one week and mount the next one. Our business idea works. Turnover has been almost threefold in three years. It's funny. Today's industry appointed Landernäs Marmor to gas company in 2005 and we have been awarded the highest credit rating, triple A, in D & B's credit rating system in recent years.
Landernäs Marmor is unique in many ways. We are one of the few stone companies in the world that introduced computers in production. It is a model we have developed ourselves and continue to develop. Our suppliers also participate in this process. The ambition is to develop the business even more together with stone cuts and dealers.
When Landernäs Marmor was founded in 1954 by Valter Landernäs, the company mainly engaged in marble slabs. I bought Landernäs Marmor in 1992 and today we mainly deal with granite. Our move to modern premises on the outskirts of Lund ten years later was a big boost for us. Here we are moving forward another step forward.
The latest addition to our machine park is the stone cross. With that we reuse games to produce single. Problem solving and further development - to make it easier and better for our customers - is our guiding principle.
More and more people realize the benefits of stone. Its life is infinitely long. Using natural stones contributes to sustainable development. The stone is not expensive as many think, on the contrary it can be cheaper than wood and laminate. I'm a constructionist from the beginning but stuck to the stone, which is a natural material with glands, veins and sticks just like wood. The stone is beautiful.
