Back in 1985, two families came together and founded Atlas Marble, in the picturesque Greek village of Klimatia in Ioannina. While their head office is still located there, their business has expanded around the globe.
Since its inception, Atlas Marble has been a family affair andnow it’s the second generation that is making its mark. There’ssomething about the business and its extraordinary marble thatsparks an enduring passion for excellence in the hearts of the family.
SUCCESS STORY
Atlas Marble has been successfully extracting and processing marbleproducts and exporting them all over the world. Atlas Marble isprivately owned – and this includes the administration offices,the marble cutting and processing plant and warehousing facilities.Atlas Marble is also active in the extraction of marble for its ownuse, from its four company-owned quarries. These are located inKlimatia, in the Municipality of Zitsa, in Ioannina, Greece, in Demiti, Zagori and Peristeri in Greece, Tinos Island in the Cycladic region in the Eastern Mediterranean. We also have two qurries in North Macedonia in Prilep and Preglovo.
We supply the raw material from our own quarries and then
process the marble to produce finished products such as:
· Floor tiles · Bench tops
· Special size marble · Marble blocks
· Stairs · Marble Slabs
· Wall tiles · Decorative items
RENOWNED STONEMASONS
Atlas Marble uses local stonemasons whose skill at working with marble is renowned. These craftsman shape, trim, face and cut the marble to our
exacting standards. They know marble. It’s in their DNA. So when you order our marble, you know it’s had the best beginnings ever, whether it is for flooring, stairs, tiles, blocks or special sizes and uses.
WORLDWIDE AFFILIATIONS
For the past 32 years, we’ve extracted, processed and distributed our marble to a growing number of countries, including Italy, Germany, the United States, Brazil, China, Turkey and Australia.Our international market demands the highest standards and impeccable service, and we exceed in both.
