Stone Plus, as the company is popularly known, was founded by Rajul Singhal under the patronage and guidance of his father Mr. S.K. Singhal in 1995 in New Delhi, India. Rajul’s career of over two decades has been in the marble industry with long stints in overseas locations in the U.K., Italy and Saudi Arabia. Stone Plus (India) Pvt. Ltd. has grown to being one of the leading manufacturer and exporter of Marble Inlaid handicrafts and accessories with complete in-house manufacturing and finishing facilities based in New Delhi, INDIA. The art of marble inlay, Pachekari- in India, Pietra Durra- in Italy is centuries old and has been a major source of fascination. Its craftsmen have carried the tradition from generation to generation with very few new entrants, leading to a sharp decline in the development of this unique art form. It is the painstaking efforts of companies such as ours that has seen a major revival in demand for inlay work. The traditional Pachekari designs were modified and new modern designs were introduced to cater to current trends.
