Kaavin Kivi Oy (Kaavi Stone Ltd.) is a natural stone processing company based in the Kaavi municipality in eastern Finland. Our quarries are located in Rautavaara, Lapinlahti, Varpaisj?rvi, and Kiuruvesi. We are one of the largest Finnish companies specialising in the production of stone products. Established in 1989, Kaavin Kivi Oy (Kaavi Stone Ltd.) produces gravestones, building stone, and stone blocks. Our affiliate, Kaavin Kotitaso Oy, specialises in the production of stone kitchen worktops. Our product range is the result of an active search for new stone types and grades with the desired colours and textures. In 2000, we opened a quarry that ensures the production and availability of the Rautavaara Lilac Pearl, Gold Pearl, Blue Star, and the Varpaisj?rvi Silver Green stone grades. These stone grades have become extremely popular. Our production is based on the latest environmentally friendly technology and maximum exploitation of the raw material. The waste from our gravestone production is used, for example, to make environmental decorations and flagstones. We are members of the Finnish Natural Stone Association, with reliability and good service being the cornerstones of our business.
