The conditions that gave birth to Dilmer Makina should not be considered separately from the socio-economic transformation that shapes the future of a town. The automotive industry, which gained momentum in the second half of the last century, brought about the improvement in highways. The evolution of the economy based on agriculture and animal husbandry towards industry and service sector accelerated the migration from the village to the center. An obligatory, rapid population movement has started for the industry's need for qualified people and intermediate staff. The inability to train human resources at the same pace paved the way for unschooled, regimented education based on learning and experience. A process of civil knowledge and good manners began, walking through the chain of apprentice, journeyman and master. The efforts of the rural children who take responsibility at an early age to shape their future by learning a craft were preferred to the time spent lingering for long years in a small number of schools. The patriarchal, civic education tradition that the tree bends when it is wet has increased the work volume and the number of apprentices in the small maintenance and repair workshops that feed the industry.
