Slate Design Kft. was established in 2013 and since then we deal with the production and sale of ultra thin stone veneers over the world. We also have business units in Slovakia and Romania.
In 2023 our products obtained an ETA certificate which is required for the distribution of any stone veneers across Europe because these types of covers are not covered by a harmonised standard (hEN) under the Construction Products Regulation (EU) 305/2011. This means that our covers are considered as building materials with CE marking and are suitable for both outdoor and indoor use.
Our stone veneer covers meet the highest EU construction industry requirements and also met the requirements for outdoor ceramic coverings.
The ETA is valid in all EU Member States and those of the European Economic Area, as well as in Switzerland and Turkey. But it is also often accepted as technical documentation in other parts of the world.
