RMS Global Stone was founded with a very simple business model: To deliver high quality stone products to its clients at extremely low prices. We achieve this goal through a streamlined supply model of purchasing rough blocks directly from major stone exporting countries, such as Brazil and India, through our buying offices in those countries. We then process the blocks into slabs, tiles and pre-fabricated Countertops at our affiliated factories in China using advanced Italian stone machines but capitalizing on the extremely cheap labor cost prevalent in the Chinese market, all while avoiding incurring any warehousing fees in the U.S to ensure that our operating costs, and therefore our prices to our clients, remain low. In addition to the resulting low prices, this supply model also allows us to deliver consolidated orders to our clients, combining stone colors from different countries of origin in the very same container and effectively helping clients keep their inventory diversified. Moreover, with the continued strength in the hotel and commercial construction market, we provide our clients with a wide selection of low-priced cut-to-size pre-fabricated countertops, vanity tops, natural stone vessels and integral bowls, which has constantly allowed them to outbid their competitors and win more commercial jobs—a necessary market sector to offset the slowdown in the residential market. All the while, to satisfy the U.S. market’s appetite for exotic and rare stone choices, we import directly from Brazil, India and Italy the stone colors that are not widely available in our East Asian markets and deliver them directly to our clients, allowing them to fulfill their customers’ demand for upscale natural stone choices.
