Helicon Marbles

On mount Helicon of Central Greece, where according to Greek Mythology the muses (deities of music) lived, there is a unique assortment of marble.
In the quarry of Helicon Marbles-Vassilios I. Papadakis, 5 principal selections, of the same technical characteristics but of different colors, are produced.
These selections include the following:
•HELICON GOLDEN EXTRA (golden yellow)
•HELICON YELLOW RIVER (light golden yellow)
•HELICON DESERT (beige-light yellow)
•HELICON SABLE (white-light rose)
•HELICON CORAL (rose-yellow)
•HELICON CREMA (white-beige)
These exclusive colored marbles, that are produced in moderate quantities, are destined for high class exclusive projects. The type HELICON GOLDEN EXTRA is considered by experts as one of the most beautiful yellow marbles in the world.
NOTE : The Yellow River selection is lighter and softer golden color that can be separated in tile form. The slubs can be a mixture of Golden Extra and Yellow River and are homogeneous.
Other names for the Helicon Golden Extra and Yellow River are Santa Helena Gold A! selection or Troy A! selection.
