Our history ... 90 years in the business, but we’re not old... just highly experienced.
Rastone is one of the most active companies on the international stone market. It was set up in 1994 via the transfer of a branch of ALIMONTI FRATELLI S.P.A., a company that together with its subsidiary ALIMONTI TRADING S.R.L. makes up the ALIMONTI S.P.A. group.
These companies have a great reputation, their work being much appreciated by designers and operators around the globe thanks to the wealth of experience and know-how built up over the years by members of the Alimonti family, whose head, Angelo Alimonti, set up the first workshop back in 1923.

Situated in Barbata, in the heart of Lombardy, Rastone serves all those intent on developing top quality projects that involve stone in all its varieties and inimitable colours, multiple forms and applications.
Its craftsmen are driven by their great passion for stone and a strong work ethic, qualities that are much encouraged by the company. These highly skilled and specialized artisans are co-ordinated by expert technicians. With their in-depth knowledge of the materials and the use of high-tech machinery, they can shape the stones any which way to meet each customer’s specific needs.
