Company Description
Since 1950 Mc Keon Stone has been supplying natural stone products to the Irish and European markets.
At our limestone quarry in Threecastles , Kilkenny we extract large premium limestone blocks using worldclass quarrying technology.
At our stone factory in Stradbally, Co Laois we cut and craft the stone to each customer's unique designs. Using the latest in 5 axis CNC cutting technology we can manufacture the most intricate of designs in short leadtimes.
We employ 47 people between our Laois and Kilkenny facilities and have 600 years of experience working with stone amongst our workforce. Indeed we have 3 quarrymen working more than 40 years each in the quarry!
While we export to Belgium , Holland and Germany we are one of the leading suppliers of limestone building products to the island of Ireland. While we do not fix the stone onsite we work with a small number of quality fixing companies to deliver the supply and fix package.
