Even though it is a sawing machines, both have technical solutions similar to the ones of a CNC machine. All the movements of the axes are on linear bearings which do not need to be adjusted. All the lubrication points have been gathered in areas which can easily be seen and reached, without disassembling guards or protections for facilitating ordinary maintenance. High level components are employed. The motors used, except for the Z axis, are servo motors with precision reducers. Especially the high speed of the X axis allows to cut down idle times as much as possible with a productivity increase (the percentage of the time that the disc stays on the material is higher with respect to the time for placing or returning to cut start)
The spindle, anchored in front of the beam to offer the utmost rigidity, can accommodate discs up to a diameter of 700 mm for the AQUILA 700, diameter of 500 mm for the AQUILA 500. The head of that machine can rotate “IN CONTINUOUS” i.e. always making the less route for positioning between one cut and another, for the benefit of productivity. Thanks to this peculiarity, it is possible to draw on the X-Y plane circles and circle arches of any size, in all the positions of the working area. The choice of placing the cutting disc in axis with the head rotation center reduces to zero the efforts on the axis for an excellent cutting quality. The inclination of the disc is manual from 0° to 90° and the possibility to interpolate the X and Y axes make the machine suitable for repetitive processing and single details even with vertical, inclined, parallel, orthogonal, diagonal and curved cuts. Helios Cut 500 is a fast and performing 5 interpolated axes bridge saw. It has been developed for high precision cutting processes on ceramics, quartzites, as well as marbles and granites. The exclusive characteristic is the stainless steel monolithic structure, which guarantees a total endurance against corrosion and a remarkable duration over time. The bridge saw can have both manual and total automated functions thanks to the advanced levels of the software, which allow to process easily a lot of jobs such as multiple linear cuts, perpendicular linear cuts, mitering, cut of kitchen/bath tops, calibration, decorative walls, shaping, inclined cuts, net and clean cuts, roughing, scraping, fan-shaped stairs, template reading, and much more. The integrated Helios X-touch software is user-friendly and intuitive, it can be combined with Helios Photoscan, which is the slabs scanner, as well as measuring system and template reader. This bridge saw has everything a technologically advanced bridge saw needs to have today: 5 interpolated axis, spindle with half inch fitting with trough-spindle lubrication, tilting table up to 85°, vacuum manipulator system for parts movement during automatic cut process, on-board camera, blade presetting and stone thickness probe.
The machine in details
-This machine is a fully interpolated 5 axis bridge saw. The Y axis is moved by a gantry system. This guarantees a perfect square of the bridge. Automatic head rotation from 0° to 400° combined with automatic blade tilting from 0° to 90° makes it suitable for large production runs, at the same time containing costs.
-The absolute precision of the movements is guarantee by a state of art transmission on linear ball guide, moved by brushless motors through high precision helical gears and racks.
-This machine comes with the “absolutely zero” technology, which allow the machine to work without doing the homing process.
-It has an extremely easy to use interface, realized to facilitate the interaction between the operator and the machine.
-It can quickly do easy cuts in manual, the machine also can import and work with DXF (AutoCAD) files and “G-code” ( RS-274 machine tool programming language).
-The cable-drag chain and the electric cables used on the machine are purposely made for use at high speed (robot materials).
